PV Industry associations and institutes from South Asia, Australia and Middle East, etc have all gathered in Shanghai during SNEC to share its views and insight of regional market status and latest research on PV technology, which has raised sharp interest and heated discussion among the attendees. Attendees are mainly form: Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), Smart Energy Council (SEC), Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), Solar United, Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), Philippine Solar and Storage Energy Alliance (PSSEA), Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), IEA – PVPS, Iran Renewable Energy Association (IrREA), and VDMA-Sector Association EMINT-Sector Group PV Equipment. Representatives of APVIA Executive Committee includes Desert Technologies, REC, Tongwei Group, JA SOLAR and Clenergy have also come to attend this meeting.

Iran Renewable Energy Association has put an effort to develop its international training courses on renewable energy by consistently contacting international associations. In this way, IrREA hosted senior directors of International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Tehran to develop international affairs on renewable energy and co organize some workshops in Iran.
Iran Renewable Energy Association has joined the Steering Committee of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) since 2017. Many scientific, industrial and technical information transferring have been done. Technical consultancy to operate the projects, editing quality standard, marketing services and training on photovoltaic industry are the main international activities that are being done by both sides.

Iran Renewable Energy Association (IrREA) was selected as one of the observing member at UN Climate Change Conference COP 24. COP 24 which was held in Katowice, Poland, was finished after 2 weeks. Many delegates from different countries had been gathered to focus on Paris Climate Accord. “It is not easy to find agreement on a deal so specific and technical. Through this package you have made a thousand little steps forward together. You can feel proud,” Michal Kurtyka, Polish president of talks told delegates. He added “We will all have to give in order to gain,” he said. “We will all have to be courageous to look into the future and make yet another step for the sake of humanity.”he added. About 200 countries reached an agreement on implementing the Paris Climate Accord after two weeks of negotiations under the auspices of the United Nations.
